This past month sure has been eventful. Whilst the US election has taken front stage for many, here in NZ we are recovering from a horrific 7.8 earthquake, a terrifying experience for those affected. It’s so easy to get wound up and fearful but if we are not careful, we will end up having our joy sapped from us.

I for one want to make the choice for peace, for joy and to trust that I am being held by loving hands.

As we head towards the end of the year, I want to set you a little task. Get a cuppa, find a quiet corner and take a few minutes to reflect on your creative year. How have things been for you? Have you accomplished much, done what you wanted to do? Maintained good relationships? What is your creative life looking like? But just as important, what has been your state of mind? Are you living in a state of anxiety, hopelessness, regret? Are there ways you could minimize this?

As you think about these things (and I hope you have a wonderful sketchbook or journal to jot down your thoughts) what are your feelings about 2017? Write down your dreams and asperations so they are there on paper. Perhaps getting started on a creative path, or making serious progress with your art will be on the cards. And did you know that the act of creating can be a healing tool as well? Apart from it being a relaxing, meditative activity it can serve as a platform for breakthrough in other areas of your life too.

If you need help deciphering your plans for the coming year, I am here to assist!

Just hit ‘reply’ to this email to request a FREE 20 minute Skype strategy session where we can nut out your creative direction.

There is also a new Artist in Action session starting on Monday 28th November. The participants from my inaugural session have seen great results!

Here are a few of their comments:

“I feel good about being focused, and reaching my goal for the day. This course is really helping me to maintain my focus!”

“It has helped to eliminate the ‘scattiness’ with which I often approach my creative work!”

“This has been so good for my busy brain. Focusing on one thing at a time has REALLY helped!”

Now is the right time to get planning – don’t wait till the New Year has already begun. Get the ball rolling – you want to be up and ready to go after your holiday break.

Plus there is still time this year to finish up those tasks you have been meaning to get to for so long.

Most of us find this time of year the most difficult to stick to a plan. Thats why it is so helpful to have a space where you commit to daily small increments of progress, where it won’t interfere with your other end of year busyness.

I invite you to come along and join the community at Artists in Action where you’ll get 24/7 support from me and cheering on from your fellow participants. There’s a 4 week package to dip your toes in or more long term options. In fact if after a week you feel it’s not for you, you’ll receive a 100% refund.

You’ll get clear on your goals, start taking ACTION, and set yourself up for success in 2017!

You will learn how to
* Stop spinning your wheels,
* Work less and get more done
* Determine your Very Important Project and focus on that
* Overcome the “busy all the time and getting nothing done” syndrome.
* Focus on your passion and where you want to go with it

If you are feeling overwhelmed and confused with too much to do, Artists in Action will NOT increase your workload. It will show you how you can achieve more in small daily increments.

You will prioritize and not waste so much time.
You will get online accountability
Visual progress tracking
Small group support and structure to help you focus on your most important (yet not urgent, so you never find time for it) projects.
Plus many other benefits to joining.

Our next session starts on Monday 28th November and I would LOVE to have you join us! You’ll be able to purchase your session from here. Just scroll down to the pricing boxes.

If you have any questions or hesitations, please do reach out to me at and don’t forget to request your free 20 minute strategy call.

To peace and joy and getting it done!
